from the Artist: Unisex T-Shirt. “It’s almost as fast as walking.” isn’t the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Department’s *official* slogan. But it should be! The idea for this shirt came to me when I was working in North Beach and living in NOPA. My best time walking to work was 47 minutes, and getting there on the bus often took just under an hour. It’s a tribute to both the classic 1970s SF MUNI logo and an iconic 1970s font, Souvenir.
