Yes, the English translation of the Chinese characters on Jayne Cobb’s shirt is “The Fighting Elves” perhaps a sports team? This shirt was worn in the Firefly episodes “Safe”, “Out of Gas”, and “War Stories” I recreated this image using screen caps from those episodes.
