The idea just seemed to build on itself and somehow emerged as a rather vintage looking elephant. After I completed the art, I googled ‘vintage elephants’ and was surprised to find that the colour scheme I’ve used here, appears to have been used regularly on antique elephants of a vintage age. Think colourful fairs and merry go rounds, cowboys and tiny tinny wind up toys of eras gone by. After the pencil work (on sketch pad) was complete, i chose to colour the elephant with marker pens,
